Hugelkultur

Sunday 6th August, 8:30-10:30am

This term was coined in the 70’s in Germany, but the technique has probably been used for thousands of years. To put it simply it is a raised bed on a pile of branches. Recently the council chopped down several dead trees, giving us the raw material we need to build one. So come along and learn about the advantages and variations of this technique and help us build one.
Presented by Dirk Peek.
This is a hands on workshop, so sturdy footwear, hat and gloves are recommended.
