Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 9 AM – 10:30 AM
Workshop Cost: $5 (please pay cash on the day).
Leslie Gordon is a Larrakia woman who loves to share her knowledge about bush tucker and cultural knowledge related to plants and seasons in the Darwin region.
Join Leslie and the Lakeside Community Garden for some valuable hands-on ideas about the seasons and the harvests of the local area. Get some ideas about how you can integrate these plants in your own garden or find bush tucker out in the beautiful natural places in and around Darwin.
Please wear a hat, bring drinking water and sunscreen. Morning tea will be provided.
There is a driveway entrance and parking space at the grass oval on the green shed side of the garden. Better yet be kind to the environment; ride your bike, walk or catch the number 4 bus.
This workshop is kindly supported by a grant from the Community Benefit Fund.
