Sunday 23 June 4 – 6pm
Come along to our welcome to the dry gathering at Lakeside Drive Community Garden. The dry season is always a delight to get out in the garden, and of course keep up with essential watering. Drop in for a chat, explore the garden, lend a hand, learn more about growing food in the unique Darwin environment with Lakeside Drive Community Garden, and how you can be involved. Family friendly.
Please wear a hat and flat, enclosed shoes. Bring drinking water, sunscreen, mosquito deterrant and gloves.
Follow the dirt driveway entrance to the garden at the Power and Water substation gate for parking, as well as some limited parking at the far side entrance to the garden (closer to Alawa Hall). There is also parking across the street. Better yet, ride your bike, walk or catch the number 4 bus.
