Sunday Oct 6th, 9-11am
This Sunday Lia Gill will be discussing collecting, storing and planting seeds. Learn how to make up your own potting mix and how to give your seeds and seedlings the best start. Bring along your cuttings from the last session and we can get our hands dirty potting them up.
New people are always welcome and if you are running late (it is a Sunday morning!) feel free to join us later.
Please wear a hat, bring drinking water and sunscreen.
There is a driveway entrance and parking space at the grass oval on the green shed side of the garden. Better yet be kind to the environment; ride your bike, walk or catch the number 4 bus.
We are always after volunteers to help on the day, with setting up, from 8.30am, and packing down, till 11:30am, and also helping with morning tea and general socialising with visitors. If you want to help out, even just once, please let us know either in the comments below, sending us a FB message or emailing Kim (plateofjoycatering@gmail.com).
Any suggestions and ideas for future themes for 2020 please certainly let us know, and if you are keen to take the lead with information sharing on the day, those extras you can provide will make the Sunday mornings very special.
You can register your interest for the Garden Gathering series on our Facebook Page. https://www.facebook.com/events/487758845288593/
This event is proudly supported by a Community Benefit Grant, NTG and Lauren Moss, MLA for Casuarina.
