Lakeside Drive Community Garden is about growing and strengthening sustainable communities as well as growing healthy, fresh, local food.
You can become a financial member of Lakeside Drive Community Garden. This entitles you to attend our monthly workshops and working bees for free, garden in the communal sections, use our tools and facilities and receive our email updates. As a member of the garden you are also entitled to vote at our AGM and nominate for a position on the Management Committee (board).
2020 membership fees are: $10 (individual).
The best way to become a member is to turn up to one of our activities and sign up. Membership runs over the calendar year, starting on 1st January and expires on the 31st December.
This year (2020) Lakeside Drive Community Garden is providing community groups the opportunity to have their own allocated plot.
The term ‘community group’ for us is broad and can include your volunteer groups, school, class, network, workplace, residential street, family, household, sporting group or cultural alliance.
